My name is Christian William Biggs.  I was the key witness for the District Attorney in a case against my father, Jerry William Biggs Jr., #218987, who is presently serving time in Telfair State Prison for a crime he did not commit.

Following is a written statement from Cori Biggs regarding her father's incarceration.  She has mailed this statement to several organizations that she believes might be able to help.

I, Cori Biggs, am writing regarding my father, Jerry W. Biggs, JR.  He has spent over 11 years in prison, for a crime he did not commit. I know this because I am considered one of the victims in his case. The other victim is my oldest brother, Christian W. Biggs. The charges consist of 2 counts of child molestation and 2 counts of aggravated child molestation. All charges combined he has the total of 85 years in prison.

I apologize in my delay in getting back with you.  I wanted to be able to provide you with some proof to my father's innocence to the charges in which he has been convicted.  I have taken and passed a polygraph to prove the fact that my father did not molest me.  I am providing you with an affidavit to back up the fact that I lied in court.

UPDATE:

Christian and Cori were both recently approved to go visit their father in prison.  Cori went to see her father in November (2008) and Christian went to see his father in December (2008).  Both visits went well and it was heartwarming and an honor to be a part of this and to witness this reunion.  It was very obvious the love this father has for his children and the love they return.  There were tears and laughter and promises of future visits.  It is my hope that soon there will no longer be a need for three hour drive just to spend a few hours together and Jerry will be home to spend as much time as possible with his children.
